All Saints, Kettering, Diocese of Peterborough

A priest in the modern catholic tradition is sought to lead the mission and ministry of this large outward looking urban parish with a population of over 9,000, set in a growing Northamptonshire town with excellent road and rail links and a successful Church of England secondary school.

The person appointed will ideally be:

  • a priest able to facilitate welcoming, inclusive worship and lead the church into numerical and spiritual growth
  • a prayerful pastor with strong inter-personal and communication skills, to provide stimulating and challenging preaching
  • someone willing to be a highly visible presence in the parish, with a passion for building ever stronger relationships with schools and community groups
  • an enabler and encourager of the vocations and ministries of others, helping to broaden the base of active and financially committed church members
  • a team player who is instinctively collaborative, keen to work with deanery and ecumenical colleagues
